I totally had a post to make but my school network is being a fucktard and won't let me sign on. DX

I went on a wallpaper-making spree last night. The pictures were just too beautiful! I couldn't stop! XD

All are in 1280x800 resolution because there's not enough love for us widescreen folks. ^^

Okay, since my f-list page has failed me by being boring, and I am completely averse to doing anything that even remotely resembles work, I'm going to do another CD review, even though only one person read the Vidoll one. Oh, well. :D I'm bored.

First of all, let's talk about the album cover.



I love the fact that they are so ashamed of THE OUTFITS OF FAIL that they aren't showing their faces. They were probably taking the picture in full-size, but they all looked so ridiculously miserable that the photographer was like, "Yeah... let's.... well, let's just crop it... that... that should work." And then they ended up with no faces. It's better this way, guys. Then I won't get distracted by your pretty faces and I can completely let loose and hate your outfits without having to look you in the eye.

 So, I have a huge request for any of my Australian buddies. 

My dad is a super huge fan of Aussie rules football. Like, huge. It's strange. But the sport is awesome, so I can't blame him. XD

His favorite team is the Essenden Bombers. These guys. I was wondering if anybody could possibly get a t-shirt, or sweatshirt, hell, merchandise of ANY KIND of theirs. I want to give it to him for Christmas, but there's no way I could get it myself. 

Is there anyone who could find some Bombers merchandise and send it to me? I'll fully reimburse you for shipping, the item, plus I'll pay you extra for your troubles. Please?? *hopeful smile*

Also, he really likes foreign stamps and money. Is there any way that anybody in any country other than America could send me some unused stamps and/or some paper money? I'll pay you for it, obviously. XD 

If anyone can help, I will be FOREVER in your debt. *bows*

1. I got a meal break violation at work today, which basically means I get paid for an extra hour of work that I didn't have to do. Sweeet!!
2. I found out that I had about $1100 worth of savings bonds still, which means that I can get my new laptop tomorrow instead of having to work extra hours and save up for a month
3. I requested some Bergerac songs at jrock_uploads that I really didn't think anyone would have, but someone uploaded them for me
4. I got into the class I was waitlisted on, which means I don't have to go talk to my counselor. It's not a huge deal, but the building the business department is in is all the way at the southeastern edge of campus, and up a huge hill. Not fun to walk there. ><
5. I've noticed that reading Japanese is steadily getting easier for me
6. When I was watching the Heroes premiere, there was this guy that was speaking Japanese, but he had a mask on. But I noticed that he had an accent, and I said "That guy isn't Japanese." My mom was just like "What are you talking about?" And I said, "That guy isn't Japanese, he's got an accent," and she said, "You're wierd," and then he took off his mask, and he was a British guy!! I looked at my mom smugly and just said "Ha." Score one for me.
7. I found out that I'm going to be part of the Starbucks coffee tasting that's going on at the local Firemen's Pancake Breakfast next weekend. There's this one fireman that I've been scamming on for a while, so I'm hoping he'll be there. XD
8. A couple people at work said that they love working with me because I never fail to make them laugh
9. I've got an issue of Fool's Mate coming in the mail, and I really have no idea who's going to be in it. I wanted it to be a surprise. XD
10. Last thing... I'm really happy that I've met such cool friends here on LJ. Thanks a bunch guys, you've really brightened up my days recently. I mean it, thank you.

On videos, I'm including what format I have them in. If you request a video that I have in multiple formats, you have to specify which one you'd like. I can also convert any of my videos into mp4 for iPods and PSPs, or to avi. If you'd like a video in another format, you can request that as well.

Also, please don't request more than two videos at a time! It takes a while for me to upload them, so please try to limit yourself... T_T

Anyway. Here's my videos! 

So, I've been studying Japanese, but there's only so much you can learn from just reading a textbook. I haven't been able to find just one book that teaches me what I want to learn in the way that I like learning, which kind of sucks. :/  But I've learned (what I feel is) quite a bit, for self-study anyway. 

I've always learned best by doing rather than reading or listening, so I picked a small thing to just start translating (Uruha's Artist Box from the latest Shoxx). So far it's going well, I'm learning a lot! As I expected, not having a large Japanese vocabulary has made it difficult, but it's alright. My biggest problem is just not knowing enough of the grammar points. None of the books I've studied from has done a really good job with teaching grammar, so that really sucks. >< I just don't know where the verbs and nouns end and the suffixes begin. Eh, it's annoying, but I'm learning to recognize all the suffixes as I go, so it's really helping. I just hope that it makes sense at the end. 

And there's two kanji that I can't seem to figure out. XP

 Let me know what you all think! I'm sure that we all have different perceptions of her, so we might have different thoughts on what she is and isn't. We can all contribute to paint an accurate picture of her since she won't do it herself. XDDDD
